Discover Our Journey
STEM-Cell Tutorial was born from the experiences of a group of University Engineering Students who, upon reaching university, discovered the vast world of real-world STEM applications that had eluded them earlier. Reflecting on their own journey, they discovered later in their academic careers, why such exposure was not provided earlier to spark curiosity and passion for STEM subjects.
Working as part-time tutors, they witnessed first-hand how personalised educational support transformed students' academic perfomance. This raised even more questions: How many students give up on STEM subjects simply because they lack effective support? Why access to personalised educational support was often restricted by socioeconomic status? How can we ensure that all learners, regardless of their background, have access to the support they need to succeed in STEM?
The answer became clear: Early exposure and effective educational support are key. By igniting curiosity and providing the right guidance from a young age, we can unlock the full potential of every student. But how do we make personalised support accessible to all learners? How do we foster love for STEM from an early age and ensure that students don't miss out on essential knowledge until university?
